a reserve officer while attending the College of Southern Idaho Law

over sees
training and also the reserve program and is the crime scene
specialist.
The Filer
Police Department would also like to announce that four officers
from the police department reserve staff have finished their
level one training.
Those officers
are:
Officer Steve
Orsland
Officer Brandon
Williams
Officer Lonnie
Brutke
Officer Kit
Watson
The level one
training is a requirement by the State of Idaho to be a reserve
officer. This training is exactly what full time officers have to
complete to get certified by the State of Idaho. The training
consists of 300 hours of class room time and hands on training that is
completed during week nights and weekends over a three month period.
All of those hours were volunteered by each officer. The Filer
Police Department would like to thank these officers for their
commitment to the City of Filer.
