Reserve Program
The Filer Police Department developed the reserve program to involve citizens in protecting the residents of Filer. Our volunteer staff consist of Level 1 and Level 2 officers that help patrol the streets of Filer. Our reserve officers also serve vital to the department when incidents overwhelm the initial resources of the first responding officers. The reserve officers assist with covering shifts, so that the citizens are able to have police protection 24 hours a day.
